In 2004, The Greater St. Charles Education Foundation announced a new program to equip all schools in District 303 with
LCD projectors. The Foundation partnered with Dukane Corporation, a local St. Charles firm, to purchase the projectors.
Dukane offered the Foundation a significant discount and also donated three promotional projectors to the District
as well - the total value of Dukane's donation exceeded $9,800.
The Foundation awarded projectors to the 12 elementary schools in September 2004 and completed the final phase
of this project by awarding projectors to the three middle schools and two high schools in April, 2005.

Making good on a promise from last fall, the Greater St. Charles Education Foundation recently gave new LCD projectors
to each of District 303’s three middle and two high schools .
The Education Foundation in September 2004 bought and gave similar projectors, valued at $2,000 each, to
each of District 303’s elementary schools, and promised to do the same this
spring for District 303’s three middle and two high schools.
The Dukane Corp. supplied the units at a specially-discounted price. All together the
Foundation spent about $27,000 on the 17 projectors. Dukane also donated free of charge three promotional projectors valued
at $1,000 each. These units were given to District 303’s three middle schools.

Each of District 303’s elementary schools will get a new LCD projector, valued at $2,000, from
The Greater St. Charles Education Foundation, and the district’s middle and high schools will get the same gift next
year.
The Education Foundation recently approved spending up to $20,000 to purchase 12 of the projectors from Dukane Corporation
- a local St. Charles firm. In addition to offering special discounts, Dukane is also donating demonstration equipment
to the District.
Foundation members also approved budgeting $9,000 to buy five more projectors next year to give to the
district’s three middle schools and two high schools.
