Serving the Children of School District 303

Great Western Freedom 4
The Education Foundation will host it's second annual competitive road race, the Great Western Freedom 4, on July 4th, 2008.  Proceeds from the race with benefit the students of District 303.
 
The 4-mile course is registered with CARA and certified by the USATF.  The run will be held at the LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles with portions of the course continuing on to the adjoining Great Western Trail.

Prime Time Timing will professionaly time the race using state of the art "chip" technology.  The Fox River Trail Runners club has also added this event to their 2008 race circuit.

Media Cart Donation
The Education Foundation is pleased to announce the donation of more than $70,000 to equip each District 303 school with a state of the art mobile presentation cart. The carts contain the latest in multi-media technology, including an ELMO document camera, wireless laptop computer, LCD projector, VCR/DVR player and speakers. 
 
Each of the 12 elementary schools in the District received a cart in the fall of 2007.   The Foundation has committed to purchase five more media carts for the middle schools and high schools over the next two years.
 
The integrated system provides students, teachers and administrators with the latest in portable presentation technology in a secure mobile workstation.
